Project RC was good enough when I started. Now the story is more closely linked to one of the characters, I've changed the title, but the working title is still "RC".
"Of Swords And Magic" doesn't really sell the story to me. "Tales of Labolai" doesn't mean anything either (sorry!).
Your description, "tracing curses with a similar magical signature" sounds intriguing, though. Like an auditor finding irregular payments in a corrupt banking system, or a detective building up the psychological profile of a criminal. Perhaps "Mage 'Tec of Labolai" is a bit OTT though? :-)
Next time you're on a creative roll, why not just churn out titles? Aim for a hundred, see what you come up with. I did this a couple of years ago and some of them are very nifty indeed.
P.S. I'd rather be writing than editing... you're not alone.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8194371714410566641.post-21402813156178482312012-11-25T18:56:08.729+00:002012-11-25T18:56:08.729+00:00I know how you feel about finding a new title. So...I know how you feel about finding a new title. Some of the titles I came up with long ago just sound so boring, cliché, and stereotypical now, and are begging to have more original titles.

How about The Secret Curse of Labolai?Carrie-Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05810154378449825641noreply@blogger.com
